Coordinator of travel and expense, logistician of events, communicator extraordinaire, and recorder of all - terms that can be used to summarize the impact of this position has within the Claims Services organization. Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant 2 transcribes, types, formats, and proofreads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software. Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available. Manages the appointments and schedules of applicable staff. Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes, and printers. Additional responsibilities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory.

Required Qualifications

    Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position

  • Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)

  • At least 2 years of previous executive administrative assistant experience supporting a Director level or above

  • At least 2 years of experience managing multiple calendars, travel arrangements and working with procurement

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products - Very proficient in Outlook (managing multiple calendars, color coordination), Powerpoint – experience formatting presentations, Excel – experience with basic formulas

  • Able to work 8 - 5 p.m. in the Eastern time zone

Work at Home Requirements

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
