Digital Content Coordinator


 

The position is to support the Marketing division with execution of programs and new initiatives. The Digital Content Coordinator will coordinate all content and digital channels for the Arizona State Fair and year-round events.

This position will work closely with the Marketing Director and the Assistant Executive Director to ensure digital content follows the Marketing Strategy.

This position is responsible for the day to day management of digital online media marketing efforts including content creation for email, website, video content, and all social media outlets.

This position requires strong writing, editing, and managing multiple channels, post and deadlines.

Job Duties:
  • Capturing content for social media channels. Drafting copy for social, website, email and blogs, Timely optimization of website copy
  • Tracking and analyzing content performance
  • Maintain content calendar and content production schedules
  • Monitoring and responding to social media comments and messages
  • Assisting in the development of content strategies
  • Research of industry, market trends and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge:

  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working knowledge of social media channels, including Pinterest, Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Working knowledge of GA4
  • Knowledge of how to research and determine what the Digital Community within target market is sharing/liking on social media
  • Minimum 2 years experience writing and posting Digital Content

Skill:

  • Customer Service, Strong organizational skills, ability to handle and execute multiple tasks and prioritize work load

Ability:

  • Ability to work with and meet multiple coinciding deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
